How data logging can help you …
|
|
Data logging is useful in determining a refrigeration system's performance. Generally, manufacturers of refrigeration plant give nominal duties and efficiencies which may not be repeated on a site installation. Data logging will give Site Conditions Refrigeration Duty, True Absorbed Power and C.O.P. The resolution of the instruments used starts at 10 Bit with a 0.03 DegC accuracy on the PT100 temperature sensors used to determine Chilled Water Temperature Difference. Generally the comparisons between some Published Manufacturers Data and Real Performance data of a refrigeration plant can vary as much as between +10% to -35%.
