Our specialist activities revolve around the service and maintenance of all types of water chillers. Our engineers have experience with most manufacturers' Water Chillers, excelling in the main three, York, Carrier and Trane. Be it Centrifugal, Screw or reciprocating you can rely on our expertise.
Our experience is not restricted to conventional Chiller plant: we offer a rigorous service and maintenance regime on all types of ABSORPTION and CHP Plant as well.

Industrial refrigeration
|
|
All our engineers are trained and hold industry standards for the use and handling of AMMONIA. Our experience includes two-stage process cooling, mostly for food processing, utilising either High and low stage Screw Plant or Low stage centrifugal boosters with multi wheel high stage centrifugal compressors.
Ammonia water chillers also fall into this category. Our experience here is mostly on Screw Plant used for process cooling in the pharmaceutical and photographic film processing industry.

Service and maintenance Control systems

Our engineers have been officially trained by various BMS Manufacturers in the service and maintenance of the industry's major BMS Central Controllers.
Our engineers specialise in offering hardware to third party OEM Manufacturers to enable direct interfacing with Water Chiller controllers. This enables large amounts of information to be available to the customers Front End Interface and offers integral control of the chillers. This is generally accomplished by utilising an RS232 Gateway controller.
Our expertise is with the York ISN Sequencers, Gateways and networks. We can carry out any required software alterations and enhancements ALL IN HOUSE.

Air-conditioning plant
|

We undertake all HVAC works, from small split systems and VRV Systems to a VAV Central Plant. No job is too big or too small. All our engineers hold training certificates with Mitsubishi and Daikin manufacturers.

Compressors
|

FridgeTek offer a compressor rebuild service. Our extensive experience in the industry enables us to totally strip down compressors, measure the tolerances on all components and reassemble again having replaced the failed or out of tolerance component. We offer this service to the following compressors:
Carrier 06E Style of compressor. Top End Overhaul to Full Rebuild.
York JS Style Compressor. Top End Overhaul to full Rebuild.
Copland Compressors. All Styles from Top End Overhauls to full rebuild.
York LFI Compressor. (Ammonia, CFC and HFC) Top end overhaul to full rebuild.
Frick Screw Compressor. Slide valve and balance piston service kits to full rebuild.
